A Long Islander looking skyward Tuesday caught a glimpse of a SpaceX rocket streaking across the pre-dawn sky.
Viewer video from Mineola captured the spacecraft about 10 minutes into its flight in what is known as the "jellyfish" phase.
The rocket launched from Cape Canaveral in Florida and carried a batch of Starlink internet satellites into low Earth orbit.
The launch also marked a milestone for this particular SpaceX booster, which reached a record-breaking 37th mission.
