The Long Island Railroad plans to run extra trains into New York City for New Year’s Eve.

It will run on a weekend schedule. However, officials say additional services will be available before the ball drops and after from midnight to 4 a.m.

There will also be extra trains after the Billy Joel concert at UBS arena.
