Muslim community leaders on Long Island says they are grieving and praying for peace amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
Hassan Ahmed, of the Town of Islip Unity Council, says it is important for all people to maintain an open dialogue to reach harmony.
"An understanding of the fact that all human life is sacred and that the humanity component here is that we need to come to a space where we can find peace," Ahmed says.
