A Lindenhurst man was sentenced Tuesday to up to 40 years in prison for burning two women with a clothing iron.

Jonathan Wright was convicted of assault and other charges over a 2021 attack at a Ronkonkoma hotel.

Prosecutors say Wright forced the victims to strip naked before tying them up and burning them over the course of several hours.

They also say Wright refused to let the women leave to get help for weeks.
