We've picked our pumpkins and now it's time to get cooking!
Chris Randell from Left Coast Kitchen is showing News 12's Elizabeth Hashagen how to prepare sugar pumpkins.
Sugar pumpkins are great for cooking, make great decorations, they always grow round and are really easy to peel.
These pumpkins can be roasted and used for any traditional pumpkin recipe like soup, risotto or pie.
They are also great roasted. Randell says you can roast them just like a potato and include them in salads.
Save the seeds and roast them or make candy seeds!
