A former Valley Stream village worker says he was subjected to threats of hanging, racial slurs and antisemitic remarks during his tenure at the Parks Department.
The man, who is Jewish and African American, says he was fired for complaining about the incidents.
A judge has cleared the way for the plaintiff’s discrimination lawsuit to move forward.
A pre-trial conference is set for January.
