Jones Inlet will soon get much-needed repairs to fix damage from Superstorm Sandy.

Many boaters say Jones Inlet has become a hazard for boaters after the storm destroyed a light tower and left the jetty in shambles.

The Coast Guard and Army Corps of Engineers say repairs will begin in September, according to Newsday.

A temporary lighted buoy will be put in place tomorrow to help boaters navigate.
