A Suffolk County man is accused of sexually abusing a child he met online.

Jonathan Pak, 33, of Hauppauge, was first in contact with the 12-year-old girl on Snapchat, police say.

Special Victims Section detectives received a tip that the victim was sexually abused by Pak when they met up in a van.

The incident happened in a parking lot on Crooked Hill Road in Commack in December 2025.

Suffolk police tell News 12 Pak talked to the girl under the username “loudesttwhisper” and also goes by “Jason” on the social media platform.

He turned himself in at the Fourth Precinct in Smithtown on Thursday and was subsequently charged with sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child at his arraignment.

Detectives are asking anyone who thinks they may be a victim of this man to call the Special Victims Section at 631-852-6531.
