For more than 40 years, the Landmark Diner in Roslyn has been serving comfort food and community. It has become a staple for Long Islanders. Now, the two-story diner is blending tradition with innovation, revamping its menu and its space.

"We kept up with the menus, the younger crowd dishes, and salads. We're big on gluten-free here now," said Landmark Diner owner Louis Tiglias. Tiglias says the focus is also on quality. "Everything is fresh, that's the good thing about diners, we cook everything to order," he added. It's that freshness, along with a welcoming atmosphere, that keeps customers coming back year after year.

Ed Strocchia lives in Manhasset and says he's been dining here for decades. "It's more like a family than a regular diner. And we're lucky to have them in our neighborhood," said Strocchia.

The diner serves classic comfort food to creative favorites like s'mores pancakes. The food draws customers in, but regulars say it's the sense of community that keeps them coming back. "It's not too often you get a diner this capable and they're good people," said Strocchia.
