Gov. Lamont signs key climate change legislation into law

Gov. Ned Lamont signed key climate change legislation into law Tuesday.
The package includes two bills. The first codifies into law his goal of fully transitioning Connecticut's electric supply away from fossil fuels by 2040.
The second expands existing renewable energy programs.
The governor says Connecticut is a leading state in fighting the impacts of climate change.
