The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is expected to soon release its findings on what toxic chemicals were buried in chemical drums at Bethpage Community Park.
The agency says it does not appear that the barrels have leaked.
Sixteen have been found so far at the old Grumman property following calls from the Town of Oyster Bay and environmental advocates for more testing of the entire park.
