(11/16/07) STONY BROOK - A gas main leak has been reported at Stony Brook University.
Officials say the leak occurred at the Roosevelt Quad cafe, which is in a building that is under construction. Crews were able to restore everything back to order by noon.
The leak was caused by a construction worker accidentally striking a pipe. According to officials, dorm rooms were checked and evacuations were not needed.
