Gabby Petito’s family has launched a campaign to honor her memory and raise awareness for domestic abuse victims.

Petito, a Blue Point native, was murdered by her boyfriend Brian Laundrie in Wyoming last year.

Her family is asking people from around the world to light a candle or lantern and share a photo under the hashtag #TheLightRemains.
