A Copiague man is facing charges for allegedly possessing child sexual abuse material.

Jaffery C. Buffalino, 33, was arrested on March 19 following a joint investigation by the New York State Police Troop L Computer Crimes Unit along with members and investigators of the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

State police say the investigation revealed that Buffalino was in possession of child sexual abuse material on his personally owned electronic devices.

He was charged with possession of a sexual performance of a child and is due in Suffolk County First District Court on April 17.
