Freeport High School students put on a virtual Memorial Day tribute for those who gave their lives for our country.

Members of the school's marching band performed a rendition of The Washington Post March.

The band's teacher, Michael Lasorsa, says he hopes the performance will raise the village's spirits after their Memorial Day parade was canceled.

Students say it was nice to play together after being separated for so long.
