? Some Franklin Square residents are making costly repairs to their cars after vandals keyed them.
Car owner Maria Gioia says the vandals damaged her three vehicles. Neighbor Mary Eckstein expressed anger, saying she works hard for her money and the keying is a sign of disrespect. Police say nearly 24 cars were damaged on James Street, Madison Street and Fenworth Boulevard Saturday night. Residents believe teens are to blame because they heard young people outside. Police have not made any arrests.
Most residents say their insurance companies will not cover the repair costs.
