There is a new chapter in the works in Huntington after
the Book Revue closed its doors.
News 12 has learned the former manager is pushing to open
a new bookstore after the 44-year-old shop closed its doors in September from
pandemic financial struggles.
The planned store, called The Next Chapter, aims to fill
the gap left by the Book Revue's closure.
The former
manager, Mallory, has been tweeting updates. Her goal is to raise $250,000
within the next 45 days so she can bring her new book shop to life in
Huntington Village.
Richard Klein, the Book Revue's owner, is guiding Mallory
through the process.
Mallory
has a Kickstarter page to help her reach her goals.
