8h agoIn this News 12 footage from June 1992, our Doug Geed talks to Ronald DeFeo, the man convicted of killing his parents and four siblings in his Amityville home in 1974.
DeFeo told Geed that his sister Dawn and an unknown accomplice killed the family. He said that he killed Dawn in a fit of rage after finding the bodies.
DeFeo died at Albany Medical Center Friday, where he was taken Feb. 2 from a prison in New York’s Catskill Mountains.
