The New York Knicks arrived at the Westchester County Airport Sunday morning after their NBA championship-winning game in San Antonio Saturday night.

The Knicks clinched the championship with a 94-90 game against the San Antonio Spurs. It was the first time the team had won the championship since 1973.

Crowds of fans arrived at the airport to welcome the team back and Westchester County Airport firetrucks sprayed an arc of water over the plane.

A championship parade will be held through the streets of Manhattan on Thursday to celebrate the team.
