9ds agoFor the first time since October 2019, fans were back in the stands at Bethpage Ball Park for the Ducks home opener.
Friday's late-day rain did not stop excited fans from flooding the stadium, but it did stop the team from playing.
The Ducks welcomed back their fans with gifts - giving out replica championship rings for free.
They were also giving away vaccine shots for any fan looking to get the COVID-19 vaccine. People getting the vaccine were offered tickets to future games.
The stands have spaces for fully vaccinated people and people who are not fully vaccinated.
