Long Islanders took advantage of record breaking warmth Monday by hitting the beach.

It was a rare site but dozens were sitting on the sand at Jones Beach in November this year.

Those who came out say the weather was too warm to just stay at home.

"It's spectacular, it's wonderful, it's good for your mind, it's good for your whole body," one beachgoer said.
