A former Southold court clerk has been sentenced to six months in jail after stealing nearly a quarter of a million dollars from the courts.
Christine Stulsky was sentenced Wednesday.
Stulsky admitted to stealing more than $230,000 in fines and bail money from the Town of Southold while she was the senior clerk for the Town Justice Court.
Stulsky has already paid back restitution.
