Long Island's version of Comic Con, featuring artists, comic books, celebrities, gaming and more, started Saturday at Hofstra University.
No vaccination proof is required and masks at Eternal Con are optional, but organizer Frank Patz says the event is taking extra measures to keep everyone safe.
Video game voice actor Peter Blomquist, from Red Dead Redemption, chose to wear a mask to meet fans and sign autographs.
"People are coming out," Patz says. "We're back to enjoying things that we enjoyed in the past and that we haven't had in such a long time."
Tickets are still available and start at $15.
The event is also being held on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
