News 12 Long Island has learned that diplomas are in the mail for Dowling College graduates.
Many graduates were grateful to receive electronic versions of their diplomas yesterday after weeks of waiting.
The company that handles the diplomas says it's finally been paid by Dowling, so it's mailing out the long-overdue diplomas this week.
Dowling College lost its fight to stay open last month due to debt problems and accreditation issues.
