A Dix Hills guitarist is getting some major attention for his rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Sunday's AFC championship game.
The players and fans will always remember the big plays the Kansas City Chiefs made to win Sunday's AFC championship and get into the Super Bowl. But Long Island's Brandon "Taz" Niederauer will always remember the way he played before the game.
While millions of football fans around the country were watching Sunday's AFC Championship game, the Dix Hills native was focused on the pregame.
Niederauer has been playing the guitar since he was 8 years old--- he's been on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Broadway and even has a role on Spike Lee's Netflix series "She's Gotta Have It."
Brandon says he doesn't know where his newfound fame will take him next, but he does know he'll be taking his guitar with him.
"It's still an innocent thing, I look forward to it every day and will till the day I die," he said.
