Who needs store bought Halloween costumes when you can make them yourself?
Today, News 12 Long Island is helping you get ready for Halloween with some easy do-it-yourself costume ideas!
Store-bought costumes can range between $32 to $80.
Costume designer, and teacher, Andrea Galeno uses clothes from thrift shops and fabric from craft stores to create her designs. From a roasting pan she made a 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' shell!
Another tip is to stick a sword through a cereal box and you've got yourself a 'cereal killer.'
