Democratic delegates from LI give support to VP Harris to be presidential nominee

Nassau Legislative Minority Leader Delia DeRiggi says Democrats are quickly coalescing around Harris and that the vice president is "already 10 steps ahead of everyone else."

Local Democratic delegates are showing their support for Vice President Kamala Harris to be the presidential nominee for their party.
Nassau Legislative Minority Leader Delia DeRiggi is delegate for the Democratic National Convention. She says Democrats are quickly coalescing around Harris and that the vice president is "already 10 steps ahead of everyone else."
Former Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams is another delegate for the DNC who will be supporting Harris' candidacy.
Republican Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman says Harris should be rejected by voters if she is the nominee because of her inability to solve the border crisis.
