Rock ’n’ roll icon Darlene Love is famous for her Christmas songs. She originated the holiday classics "(Christmas) Baby Please Come Home"  and " All Alone On Christmas,"  among several others. Now, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member has joined voices with an up and coming artist, Chris Ruggiero, on a holiday duet.
The two recorded "Grown Up Christmas List" for Ruggiero's new album. He will even join Love to perform the song live on Dec. 17 at the Tarrytown Music Hall in Tarrytown, New York.
Love says recording her first Christmas song in some 30 years was a positive experience.
"I'm still learning, too, and I'm always open to other ideas," says Love. "You're not always perfect every time you do something, but if you have somebody else that's listening and you can't find the note or whatever -- they showed me some other way, which turned out wonderful."
Love and Ruggiero are setting out on their respective holiday concert tours which will bring each of them to the tristate region. See Ruggiero's tour schedule here and Love's here.
