A cutting board stored inside a broiler caught fire in Valley Stream.

The Valley Stream Fire Department said they responded to an oven fire on Sunday.

The wooden cutting board was left inside accidentally while someone was using the oven, officials say.

The incident happened at a home on Cochran Place.

Fire officials tell News 12 the oven was disconnected and the fire was put out before it could spread.

No one was hurt.
