Crews extinguish house fire in Islip Terrace

According to Suffolk Firecom, the call to 228 East Roslyn St. came in after 8 p.m.

Multiple crews responded to a house fire that broke out Saturday night in Islip Terrace.
According to Suffolk Firecom, the call to 228 East Roslyn St. came in after 8 p.m.
Fire departments from East Islip, Central Islip, East Brentwood and Great River, along with two EMS agencies, assisted the Islip Terrace Fire Department in battling the fire.

The fire was brought under control just before 9 p.m. There were no reported injuries.
It was not immediately clear how many people were inside the home or what caused the fire.
A News 12 viewer who submitted photos of the incident said a dog was removed from inside the home.
