A crash on Merrick Road sent a car careening into a Merrick restaurant.

Police say two cars collided on Merrick Road at approximately 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

One of the cars ended up slamming into Sufiya’s Grill.

There is no word yet on what caused the crash or if anyone was injured.
