Beach Boys postpone concert at Jones Beach
The group says they are planning to take a tour break to recharge from July 23 through Sept. 3.

The Beach Boys have postponed their upcoming Long Island concert.
Band frontman, Mike Love, made the announcement on his Instagram page on Thursday.
The Aug. 2 show was scheduled for Northwell at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh.
The group says they are planning to take a tour break to recharge from July 23 through Sept. 3.
“Playing for you is the highlight of our summer every year—especially as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States while saluting the 60th Anniversary of Pet Sounds,” Love said in his social media post.
All tickets for the postponed performances will be honored after the band returns to the stage in late September.

“Thanks for your love—we can’t wait to see you back out there for a September to Remember,” the lead singer continued.
