Connecticut man breaks state record after landing 15-pound flounder

A Connecticut man now holds the new state record for catching a 15.3-pound Summer Flounder, according to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

A Connecticut man has broken a state record for the largest flounder ever caught. 
Bill Proulx now holds the new state record for catching a 15.3-pound Summer Flounder, according to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
Proulx beat out the previous record holder, Michael Maffucci, who caught a 14-pound Summer Flounder in 2019. 
The state Fish and Wildlife sector says trophy fish submissions can be made online here
