School district administrators, teachers and parents are waiting to see what happens at a Comsewogue School District meeting tonight.
The Comsewogue School Board will consider boycotting the upcoming Common Core tests.
Last week, an upstate school board voted to opt out. Now, the state is threatening to remove members of that school board.
The vote would clarify where the district stands on the controversial standardized ELA and math exams in grades 3 through 8 or the science exam in grades 4 and 8. Opt-out advocates are applauding the idea.
