Volunteers in Patchogue raised money Sunday for an organization that helps of medically frail children and their families.
Founders of Angela's House say they have helped more than 10,000 children who have long-term medical needs since the organization was established in 1992.
"It's pretty great to see now that we were able to step in, know what the parents are going through and help them in ways that they were not able to be helped before," says Bob Policastro, founder of Angela's House.
Organizers say the money raised will be used to keep their homes across Suffolk open and help more children.
