Meanwhile, the FDA has approved the first "digital pill." The pill is embedded with a sensor so doctors can tell if a patient has taken their medication, including the date and time the person took it.
According to the New York Times, Experts estimate that noncompliance to medication costs about $100 billion dollars a year because patients get sicker.The digital pills do raise privacy concerns.
Lastly, Bill Gates wants to build the community of the future. His investment company invested $80 million in a high tech development outside of Phoenix.
The community has high speed internet, self-driving cars and new manufacturing technologies.
