There's so much new to see, and there's so much under the sea at the Long Island Aquarium on this Road Trip: Close to Home.
The aquarium in Riverhead is home to one of the largest all-living coral reef displays in the world.
See sharks, pop over to the penguins, and feed the stingrays.
Take a walk through the beautiful butterfly garden. And meet some bugs - including the largest species stick bug in the world.
There are over 100 exhibits and interactive experiences, including diving with the sharks and fun photo ops!
And brand new this summer - the Eye Opener! It's a 60-foot tree activity center that has five levels of educational adventures.
The Long Island Aquarium is open year-round, but you have to get here before summer ends to swim with the mermaids!
