Charity event held for military mothers-to-be at Bethpage Black

Today was more than just another round of practice at Bethpage Black. Golfers and servicemen came together today for Military Appreciation Day at the golf course ahead of the Barclays championship. Actress Melissa Joan Hart was also on hand to host an event for the expecting wives of military servicemen. Called "Operation Shower," Hart's charity provides toys and necessities for mothers-to-be. The first round of the tournament starts tomorrow, and both Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods have morning tee times. News 12 Long Island will have complete coverage of the tournament all week.
