One Suffolk County school unveiled a new facility that will help students who are looking to pursue a career in finance.

Ward Melville High School held a grand opening for its new finance lab on Tuesday afternoon, and some students got a sneak peek before the new school year begins.

Three Village School District officials say students can earn credentials to give them a head start before college.

“Having that early experience is going to help you, I think massively, in the long term. I don’t think Ward Melville has had any type of facility this high tech,” senior Leo He said.

“I think it’ll bring a lot of opportunities to any Ward Melville kid,” He added.

The laboratory was developed in collaboration with Bloomberg Terminal and will be available to grades 9 through 12.
