A well-known Suffolk County taco spot is closing one of its three locations after more than a decade in business.

Del Fuego Tex Mex Kitchen and Tequila will say goodbye to Main Street in Patchogue, the owners announced on social media Tuesday.

The popular restaurant has been serving authentic dishes, crafted in-house from scratch, along with an array of tequilas and cocktails for 11 years.

“To everyone who walked through our doors over the years—thank you. Thank you for the taco nights, margaritas, celebrations, family dinners, first dates, birthdays, laughs, stories, and memories,” the Instagram farewell said.

The remaining locations in St. James and East Northport will continue to serve customers their Del Fuego favorites, the owners said.

A fourth restaurant on Deer Park Avenue in Babylon revamped its operation in April, reopening under the same father-son ownership as 'Tejanos Tex Mex Cantina.’

No reason was given for this latest Patchogue closure.
