A motel in Massapequa that developed a bad rap for criminal activity has been shut down for good.

Police say that there have been multiple arrests on the premises, including for charges of robbery and weapons possession.

The Budget Inn Motel was closed temporarily in February for code violations after a request from the town of Oyster Bay.

All buildings on the property, located on Carmen Mill Road, will be demolished by June 2025.
