A Boston Marathon survivor-turned national hero shared his inspiring story today at Nassau Community College.
Jeff Bauman lost both his legs when a bomb exploded at the marathon finish line.
Amazingly, after emergency surgery Bauman was able to describe the suspect he says he knew set off the bomb. A sketch was drawn from his description, and the FBI soon identified Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
Since recovering, Bauman is sharing his story with audiences across the country.
