A sinkhole in Lido Beach is expected to be fixed before the weekend, according to Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman.
The county executive says Lido Avenue will be back open as normal barring any unforeseen circumstances.
The sinkhole first opened 12 days ago, and crews have been working to fix it since.
There has been just one lane open moving in either direction on the road as the construction has gone on.
