A Binghamton man has been convicted of murder following a deadly stabbing in Central Islip.
Christopher James faces a maximum sentence of 25 years to life for the murder of Kevin Pierson.
The District Attorney says James stabbed Pierson nine times in the victim's Maplewing Drive apartment back in 2010.
James, who represented himself in court, told the jury quote "evil lives."
He is scheduled to be sentenced next month.
