After a very rainy holiday weekend, the Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach took to the skies on Memorial Day.
It was the first time the show was held on Memorial Day, and it was open to all fans, with a general admission of $10.
The cold, rainy weather prompted the show's cancellation on Saturday and Sunday, but in a last-minute deal, in part brokered by the state Parks Department, there was a show Monday.
The show was shortened, but everyone who was supposed to fly this weekend flew on Monday - including the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.
Parking passes that were valid for both Saturday and Sunday, as well as general admission, were valid on Monday.
