2h agoAround 1,000 people took part in a two-mile "Walkathon" organized by BAPS charities.
All of the money raised this year will go to the Huntington Youth Bureau, which helps kids with shelter, counseling and schooling.
The event kicked off with a traditional Hindu peace prayer, followed by some stretching.
Speakers encouraged people to walk more, saying it helps not only your physical health, but mental health as well.
