A Long Island plastic surgeon who was arrested in Westchester County on weapons charges had his bail reduced.

An appeals court has lowered the bail of Dr. Matthew Bonanno to $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond. It had been more than twice that.

Police in the Westchester County Village of Tuckahoe say they found a stockpile of illegal guns inside his car after he allegedly threatened to kill his estranged wife.

Prosecutors say more weapons were found at his home in Great Neck.

Bonanno has pleaded not guilty to 53 counts of criminal weapons possession.

No word yet if he has posted his new bail.
