The deadline for homeowners to register for Sandy aid is approaching.
The application deadline for NY Housing Recovery Program, which launched last year, is April 11.
Applicants could be eligible for hundreds of thousands of dollars to repair damage from Superstorm Sandy.
Program supporters estimate there could be several thousand people eligible for aid who have not yet applied.
Those who wish to apply can do so online, over the phone, or at one of many walk-in centers on Long Island.
