A 46-year-old Hempstead woman has been arrested for fatally stabbing a man Friday in Freeport.
Authorities say Ivory Washington stabbed the victim during a domestic dispute in front of a home on Frederick Avenue. The victim was rushed to hospital and pronounced dead.
News 12 spoke with the victim’s family off-camera. They stated that the victim had been visiting relatives when the dispute began with his girlfriend.
Police say Washington is charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon. She will face a judge at a later date.
