The 66th annual Mattituck Strawberry Festival will kick off this evening.

It will be open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and admission is free.

Tonight there will be carnival rides. Beginning tomorrow, strawberry treats will be for sale, and arts and craft vendors will have their booths set up.

Weather permitting, there will also be a fireworks display tomorrow, Friday and Saturday.

The Strawberry Festival runs through Sunday.
